Pea....honest...my gear has been that wet and wetter on many occasions....you just wipe it off and keep on shooting. You should have seen the wet gear the day we shot cherry blossoms in DC.....
Well, it's good to know it won't ruin anything. But I would still be freaking out.:lol::lol:

I spread a bag of wildflower seeds around the backyard last fall. I am hoping to see some start coming up soon.
What kind of wildflowers?

LISA! that is a super neat shot! And I'd love to see it in a collage of sorts with other coffee shots.
:) So, what you're saying, is that if we get the tile, you and Wade can get it set in a weekend?
Thanks Cat. I'm going to finish the set of them today. My goal is to have them printed up HUGE and put on those huge empty walls above my counter tops.
Love it!
Mmmmhmmm
thanks :)
Because Weims are nuts and need special attention, right? People think they are adorable puppies but did no research into the breed, right?
People have no idea that Weims have separation anxiety and a CRAZY high energy level, right?
And as soon as they aren't adorable little puppies anymore, they want to dump their 'unruly uncontrollable dog' on someone else, right?
Yeah. People are nuts.
I never knew that about that.
No, I think the people she comes across want them for hunting and showing. From what she says, Weims take longer to train for such things, as they are slower to mature than your average hunting dog. So, people get frustrated and give up on their dog. Others just get dumped for whatever reason. Probably the reasons you stated.:(
wow, I can see that (having nearly gave up on Kona ourselves) but I'd have to really trust the person who trained him to not make him awful.
sample of pics I took. the rest are all the same.:lol: Clover, at point. she is still to gung ho for those birds, so is on a lead.

So Luna is on a 2 day trial run. They were interested in 2 dogs, and want to try them both before making a decision. Luna gets to go first. Then Louie will go for a couple days after that.
If this works out for her, ti would be perfect. She will be a golf course dog. She gets to go to work all day with her owner, chasing birds off the course, and hanging out with whoever is driving the golf cart.
Then she would get to spend her evenings with her owner's family.
One of our other dogs was adopted to a golf course manager, and it is a GREAT life for the dogs. They absolutely love it.
SO I hope i hope i hope i hope that this works out for her!
Although, if he ends up choosing Louie, that will be good for him too, I just hope he chooses Luna!

Minnie gets a daily dose of glucosomine. And, while it wasn't officially diagnosed as colitis, I'm pretty sure she has that, too, with some allergies to make things more interesting. Even though I'm very careful about what foods and treats she gets, she still has "accidents" fairly often. The latest was this morning... *sigh* She keeps Bissell in business, making me keep their cleaning solutions in stock for my SpotBot...

Good Afternoon everyone. I called in sick today, after my stomach decided to give me fits starting about 2 am
I had some computer issues this morning - but Lonnie - love the poppy field. Paula - very nice pup on point. Lisa - nice coffee photo too. I think it would look nice in your kitchen.
Goodnight, everyone. We had a very stressful day here that involved hours at the police station, bad guys with guns, threats, driving around keeping one eye out for people who don't wish us well, etc..
Alls well that ends well. We now have a new cell phone, so the abusive messages have stopped. The three strike law has been explained to the bad guys by our friends at the local sheriff's department, and I expect these fellows will be moving on now that they know they've caught the attention of the local constabulary.
One of the guys we've been contending with is a triple felon, and should already be doing life in prison because of California's 3-strike law, but his last conviction was thrown out on a technicality (or something like that). His next conviction will put him back in prison for the rest of his life. He has already served a total of twenty years for various crimes including burglary, assault, and manufacturing drugs, The other guy has only been convicted of one felony (battery and domestic violence.) These are some real sweet fellows.
They are illegally in possession of a property we manage, and are trying to shake us down for $3,000 to get them to move. Normally this would be just a simple civil matter, but the veiled threats are pretty unsettling. The triple felon is just a sleazy person with no scruples. The other guy has an explosive temper, and has threatened me on the phone. After their talking-to by the police chief, I'm sure they're not going to be too happy with us.
This is sure not how we planned on spending our golden years.
Oh....my garbage disposal died today, too. That wasn't a complete surprise, and I had already picked up a new one at Lowe's. I just didn't want to actually have to fix it for a few days.

OH, and re: the voting.
We haven't been pushing this one as much because this time, Best Friends CAN win. I know if we tried really hard, and pounded everyone again, we could get second again, but second doesn't get us anything this time around.
And it feels like we just barely got done badgering everyone to vote every day, and we didn't want to make people feel like that's all we ever do is beg for votes. LOL.
I'm hoping you win a weekly prize.:D
Keeping good thoughts going for Luna, what a great job for a dog.
Thanks Cat. I'm going to finish the set of them today. My goal is to have them printed up HUGE and put on those huge empty walls above my counter tops.

Saw the very first sign of spring today...ants on a floor at work.
Car goes in tomorrow morning. Hopefully it won't cost too much. No update on my brother other than the swelling is starting to go down. He is waiting on the specialist to come in. On a positive note, his wife who has been out of work and looking since June of 2008 started a temp position today at a company where she has been trying to get a foot in the door. :D

Evening Jim.
Honestly, I don't know. I think it's her thing. She told Mari that she could induce on March 12th, Mari said nah, I'd like it closer to actual due date. Thus the 19th was picked. Doc then said, okay, but when you are more miserable than today (two weeks ago) you are going to come back and ask me if you can induce on the 12th. Soooo....I think the doc knew

I'm all for cooking the full time, unless it is for a good medical reason. I know, easy to say for a guy, but Ethan was induced and we regret it. I really did not care too much for Lisa's doctor to begin with, she missed diagnosing any sign of my cancer when I went to her with the issues I was beginning to have. There really was no good reason for her to induce Lisa, her reasoning was just to be cautious. How convenient for the Doctor, come induce early in the day, go about your regular duties, then come back in the afternoon to deliver. No having to deliver off of office hours. Lisa's labour was more difficult then the first time with Caitlin too.

Maybe they'll take them both!!!

Yeah, I'm with you on leaving the bun in the oven till the timer goes off naturally. But thinking back since you mentioned medical reasons, it may be due to Mari's mitral valve prolapse (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mitral-valve-prolapse/DS00504) and being in labor for 19 hours with Evan. I don't think the doc is trying to do it out of convenience because if Mari were to go into labor overnight, whichever OB/GYN is on call that night delivers the baby. Throughout the pregnancy visits to the doc office, Mari has to meet with each doc in the office to get to know them and so that they can get a feel for her medical history in case they have to deliver if her doc is off that evening.
We've seen and heard about various questionable doc's. Way long story short....one doc for a friend is a fertility doc. Our friend has been trying to get preggo for 4 years already and during the first year, it was determined that she has difficulty getting the eggs to fertilize. Her hubby is okay in his department. Anyhow, her doc (for 4 years) has been very lax instead of being aggressive to try and help our friend get pregnant. Always tells our friend "be patient it will happen naturally if you pray". But after 4 years, one would think that the doc would supplement with some sort of drug right? Well one day, wife heard about a doctor who specializes in fertility and convinced friend to go see him. Mari told friend, his name is easy to remember because his last name is the same as your current doc. Turns out.....they are brother and sister! But the brother doc is more mainstream and is willing to try various things to help folks be parents before they turn 50 years old
Sorry for the long post.

This morning the rehab took xrays of my mom, they had her on her side without a pillow between her legs, somethign the doc said she should never do, they were also a little rough in pushing her over and around. After rehab (where she went to just a cane instead of a walker) the nurse came in and said the xray showed a dislocation. GAH!!!
Fast forward a couple hours and her doc wanted her in the ER, so I went and stayed with dad for 5 HOURS while they took her in for a check. She's fine, the xray person positioned her wrong (and could have led to her actually hurting herself) but the hullabaloo of it all was a real pita. Plus, once alone my dad needed his meds, to be fed and gotten ready for bed. Fortunately the lpn arrived to get him cleaned up and into bed, but he was agitated and it was difficult. there was still no word on mom after he was in bed, so I went to the ER and found out she had just been discharged...

Agreed, Michaels has a huge frame selection. I've been looking for gallery systems though with template designs. I'm not good at doing all that measuring by myself. So this ad caught my eye. Some of the first template systems I saw were a few hundred dollars, bit much for my budget. Another reason I was glad to see this ad, hoping it is more affordable.:)

Fortunately the lpn arrived to get him cleaned up and into bed, but he was agitated and it was difficult. there was still no word on mom after he was in bed, so I went to the ER and found out she had just been discharged...
Yikes Crissa! Typical radiologist though....always rushing things...around here at least.
That's for sure!!! Texas has got to be one of the most flat blah places I have ever visited.
What?! When were you in Tejas? And Where? :|

I'm glad your mom is OK. This is a rehab center, they see plenty of joint replacements, for crying out loud what kind of training have they given the techs on positioning after this type of surgery. There is no excuse to have put your mother through that and potentially setting her back to pre-surgery on her recovery. *steps off soap box*

Glad your Mom is ok Crissa. Hope you have a talk with the rehab and the head of the Xray group about this.

So, it's official. Star is adopted!
I talked to G today, and even though the pathology reports haven't come back, she said "Well... even if it's cancer, someone is going to have to take care of Star. We're gonna keep her.". They've already ordered her 'personalized' things.
We'll go over tomorrow to take the final paperwork, and to say goodbye.

LOL.
Oh sure. I've been voting 10 times a day for nothin.
What kind of wildflowers?
Just some prepackaged thing. I know it had poppys and some other stuff that is supposed to grow well here.
I have a friend that owns about 5 golf courses in Vegas. One of them is right in the flight path of the airport so they are required to keep the birds out of the course. They spent $50,000 on dogs specially trained just for this.
Maybe if you didn't spend so much time farting in the tub...
Farting in the tub doesn't take much time but preparing to fart in the tub can be a real time waster.

Good evening all. I had a meeting tonight at Make a Wish. Let me just tell you that Chris Angel is one hell of a guy. I have never thought much of him until I heard all that he has done over the past few years. WOW he really puts himself out there.
