great shot. I see alot of these so called "night/ long exposure" shots and most still don't seem to get it. this is what it should look like. great shot.

Thanks, Yep it was done with the kit lens and I used the camera's meter then stopped it down and up to get more coverage.
Post processing in raw was only to sharpen it up.
One great feature about using adobe pscs2 is it allows u to resize the raw images from 6.3 mp to 25.2 mp without any quality loss which i then used to sharpen the image. Then I opened it up in photoshop normal not the raw editor and resized it for web publishing.
And you can see the result.
RAW is fantastic as it feels like working with negatives again but you have much more control.
