I have a 10D, have had it for 6 months or so, anyways, I bought a 75-300mm USM IS Lens from the guy I got the camera from (it was used, but he takes VERY good care of his stuff) Anyways, when shooting some shots with the new lens, i noticed some dirt. I assumed it must be the lens since i didnt see it in any pictures with my 24-85mm USM lens, which means its on the sensor right? After reading around on here, I noticed that for the most part, dirt only shows up on certain pictures, at certain aperatures, but it has shown up in some pictures i really liked otherwise, and it takes forever to get rid of it in photoshop.

I had to throw something together really quick so i could post some pictures on here, so I used my Yahoo account. You can download the pictures to your desktop and enlarge them and you will really see the dust, or, i could email it to someone and they can post them for me. Thanks.....i just discovered this forum and i think i am going to be hooked!!!!

I looked at the two images you have posted at your yahoo site - looks a lot like sensor dust to me. Try the cleaning procedure as outlined in the manual before trying any other methods. Usually, using a blower will remove any loose dust that has settled on the sensor.

I don't think you do. Don't know about your camera though.
