I finished up all the processing I have been neglecting the past couple of months and wanted to share some more of my daughter's birthday pictures.

We went to the ice arena for the activity part of the party. Two of the girls are good skaters, but my daughter and one of her friends aren't that experienced so there was a lot of standing around trying to look cool. Pun intended.

Jackson had training wheels since this was the first time on the ice for him but he had a blast.

My daughter wanted a salad bar for dinner, pretty easy overall.

The Safeway banana cream pie was an odd request, but it's her birthday...

Jackson trying to talk his sister out of a candy bar she got as a present. Note the table full of candy behind her

The girls all made breakfast in the morning. They didn't do any dishes though...

Looks like you did a great job of catching all the birthday fun. These are my fave kinds of photos...ones that tell a story :)

Love the series... :) You did a great job of journaling the day. Glad you finally found time to finish them up...

Thank you, Maureen. I agree. I am pretty sure twenty years from now these are the types of shots I will love the most.

Don't tell him that, his head will swell.

You should see some of the shots, Lexi was so tired of me chasing them around. Her friends had a blast because I have so much photography crap they enjoyed being in the spotlight and posing. She is over it and just wanted to play.

look at her expression in this one

She is a good girl though, let me take all my pictures and never really complained.

So funny.. typical photographer's kid, huh? My oldest does that too. Her friends come over and I'll say something like.. hey, you guys wanna have a photoshoot..... and her friends will think it's so cool... but she gives me the "Lexi Look". haha. ;)
