Hi
Took this macro shot using S30 in ordinary desk florescent light. Was trying to get the detail to see how well it comes out. Please feel free to provide your feedback. Thanks.

As a photo to show how well the camera takes macro photo's I'd say good but on technique or anything of the sort it is very lacking. Try taking a macro of some flowers or something.

I agree with Conk - good macro detail. Also there's a yellowish color cast, or perhaps the box is dirty. :)

love the clear details of this little creature grisly
seems to have come out very well
looks old fashioned and maybe, like the dodo, is extinct now
the details are so clear (print)
it seems like it was a good idea for testing macro
can see the yellow of the florescent light reflection,
I think it adds to the 'old' look
maybe not particulary meant , but its nice.
like as though the paper is ageing
thanks for comments on the other post
best wishes

Would I be correct in assuming you meant a tungsten light source and not flourescent light, as a flourescent light source would give a green cast not a yellow cast that is indicative of a tungsten light source!?
