I use the sigma 15mm fisheye on my 20D...sometimes. The crop factor takes a great deal away from the whole fisheye effect. It ends up looking more just like a wide angle lens with bad distortion on the edges. It can be useful, but it doesn't seem to be really popular. When I use my fisheye now, it is mostly on my film camera and the results are really nice.

It is OK BUT,
it is impossible to get straight lines unless they run right through the centre of the pic, spo any horizon is very curved

Therefore it's great for taking pics with no horizon or other stright things that need to be straight (trees you can sometimes get away with)

It has good details ( for that FL) but CA is `problem with repeating lines in bright light , e/g marron grass.

Summary a 'great' lens if you can accept the 'special' effects - an 'OK' wide angle lens but limited in its use.

Has anybody used a Peleng 8mm with a 20D XT? The 16mm samples are barely fishy, but the 8mm images look good. However, I keep hearing about the Peleng having some mirror-related problems on certain cameras. I'd really like to hear from a 20D user with the Peleng 8mm if possible.
