Does anybody know the release date for this camera?

I ordered one yesterday (Sept/8) and was told that it would ship in a week. (Yes, I'm a hopeless optimist...)

I ordered a G2 about three weeks ago from Canoga Cameras and it shipped this Thursday.

UPS tracking says it will arrive Monday.
