Wow, that is a great photo. NIce placement of the guy within the sun. Also the clouds really pop, looks nice!

Top photo Martin, it has that 'wow' quality..........did you do much post processing on the foreground? I ask, as I was wondering about your meter readings for that shot!

Thanks for your kind comment, as far as the exposure is i always tend to underexpose shots like these so not to blow all the highlights so if you can imagine the raw file with detail in the highlights and no visiable shadow detail, in PS i then dodge the shadow areas to bring back the detail which in digital is easy to do, i then applied contrast sharpening to the forground to boost the contrast a touch, and thats about it, hope this answers your question
