Well, I think I still have time. I figured that after spending 20 more years in hard core photography, I should have one or two:rolleyes:

I defnitely do. It was my 4th or 5th time out with the G3. What a high, knowing that I had done something right.http://gallery.photo.net/photo/1643927-lg.jpg

Umm, I can't remember that far back. 35 years of darkroom fumes have leached away all that memory.

I believe it was of a sunset on the fourth of july or a firework pic. Or maybe it was of a gun. I don't really remember.

I remember it. In fact I just gave a print of it to a friend. It was photo of a thoroughbred whose name was, I think, Red South Slew. He was a gelding decended from Seattle Slew (which I am sure I misspelled).

I remember it specifically because while I was chimping at the screen the horse was every bit as interested in the camera as I was.

When I was 14, I went on a 10-day backpacking trip at a Boy Scout ranch in Cimarron, NM. I had a little Kodak camera (one of those really skinny 110 jobs). I took a picture of a sunset that I was pretty happy with; mountians sillouetted against the sun.

It's laying around here somewhere. Had it blown up all the way to a 5"X7"!!

No, but I remember showing some of my travel shots to friends and their 'compliments' to the effect of "good pictures -- you must have a really good camera!". Keeps my head from swelling to much! ;)

"good pictures -- you must have a really good camera!" I got that from an Aunt last weekend, who should have known better by now. She couldn't figure out why I was laughing! :D:D:D

First pic: two friends from grade school, standing WAY off in the distance & facing the cam. About like this:

I have since adjusted it more thoroughly after gaining more experience and realizing that it lacked contrast. I just posted it because it was the version that people first saw and liked

Had to be 1993. I took a photograph of the frost covered woods near where I lived and people said I should put it in a local competition. To m that is a compliment.

Still have it. 1982, one of a series of portraits I made to a friend. This is a a plain scan (no PP at all) of the only print I've left. I believe that the neg is still in my safe somewhere...

Edit to add... OMG, did I said 1982 ? 23 years ago ? Oh, God... can't believe it !
