At least that's what I think it is. I took this in our garden a few minutes ago. I used fill flash and changed the grey sky to blue in PS. Just wish I could have got it to look at me. It's not so easy taking these photos I am finding out. They don't exactly sit there and pose for you...

no expert but thats not a sparrow,could be a bluetit. nice shot though.

Are you in the UK rssfhs? It's a Great tit. A bit scruffy after all its work finding food for a nestful of chicks. Nice picture though. Scrumpy

Glad you like it but not sure about about it being a bluetit. I thought they had blue backs, white and black heads and yellow breasts. Any experts out there?

It's a bit big for a british 'blue tit'...great shot though.

Thanks Manny! Actually, it was quite small (like the majority of Japanese tits) ;-) maybe 10cm (3.93701 inches) from head to tail. The angle just makes it look so imposing.
