In Photomatix I'm clueless of how to use the Black Point and White point sliders.. anyone give me some insight? ;p

And What Am I doing wrong here.. it doesn't look that different :o
Pictures used were -2 , 0, +2 (in exposure compensation)
I put my Strength and Microconstract all the way up (tried a bit lower and looked even worse) and kept Microsmoothening very low.

So I take it you're going for the overcooked HDR look? Honestly, I don't see why you need HDR in this shot. What are you trying to do that a little Levels and Curves adjust can't accomplish?

Yep, the original looks just fine the edit looks oversharp and unnatural.

I think the original looks good....water on the second looks to strange. good image
