Upcoming trip to Asia and need advice

I'm planning a trip to Asia for March and won't be able to take my DSLR as it's a business trip and I'll be slammed every minute of every day. However I'd really like to take a point and shoot with me. That's where you guys come in, I'm looking for opinions on the best point and shoot out there in the sub $1K range.

G11 - G10 - S90 from canon, all will do.. man, I'd love to have me a G11 !!!

Thanks Gorgon, I'm not particular hooked to Canon and many people have recommended I look at the Leica D-Lux 4 as well. Any thoughts there?
