Hi theres an event going on here in Victoria called "The Tall Ships" or something to that effect. So, I thought i would head down to the inner harbour and see if i could get some shots. I am really looking for hints on how to improve on my point and shot skills. So any critisims are always welcome
thanks for looking everyone
Chris

Ok 27 views, and not even these photos are the suxers
are they just pictures or is there any potential in them. I was going for expression if this helps in the critique.......

Relax, you only posted 4 hours ago. And it's a summer Sunday afternoon.
I never like to beg for comments myself. ;)

I think they look very nice btw. Great colour and sharpness.
Were you using the 60mm macro?
My favs are the clown and the man in front of the painting.
The yoga picture would have been even better if the one leg/knee hadn't been cut off.
Keep up the great work and get out and enjoy that beautiful victoria scenery!

hehehe
wasnt meant like that, i get impatient sometimes...gets me into trouble all the time

thanks for the comments,

yes they where taken with the macro
the guy meditating to the right of the phto theres a girl sitting there that was really distracting, if u look closely i clones out her hands(the flexh on black bench and black pants made it easy). But i hear what ur saying i would have like to have the whole subject in the frame

Having the whole meditator in the frame would be ideal, but if there is somebody else sitting there, there is not much we can do.
The 60mm looks like a cracking lens, and seems to be an awesome candid lens, as opposed to the giant telephoto's that some of us use for stalk.., uh I mean "candids". :)
Really nice work!
