Gotta love the P-51.
I would give my left... well, I would give almost anything for a ride on one of those!
Thanks, Andrew!

Nice shots Andrew, Looks like you had a good vantage point to shoot from. :D
BTW, This might be the first twin seat P-51 I've ever seen. I've heard of tem though. ;)

Where did you take those pictures at? The Corsair is owned by Jim Read, I used to work at the same airport his planes are at in Valparaiso Indiana. I was home about a month ago and they were doing some maintenance to it, good to see it in the air again. Thanks for sharing :D

There are a few of them out there, the same guy that owns the F4U has one as well.... along with a PT-17, AT-6, T-34, T-28 and more. Here's his site (http://www.in-am.org/) if you or the thread starter are interested. Wish I had that much $$$!

These were taken at the Quad Cities Airshow. I though about going, but it was too damn hot, terrible sky with the haze, and the airport is setup so you shoot right into the sun in the afternoon.
Good job on the shots though, Shooting into that haze really is a pain.
As for P-51's with two seats, there are a bunch of them with small jump seats in the back, but very few with actual dual controls.
