Ok, so right now I'm jcbeckman.zenfolio.com

I have a domain name that I will eventually redirect to my Zenfolio galleries.

My question is: Can people still get to my Zen using the jcbeckman.zenfolio.com as well or does that get trumped by the Domain name and become null?

no it will still work as all your going to be doing is redircting you new domain name to jcbeckman.zenfolio.com
it the same as when people buy the .com and .co.uk then they just redirect one of them to the other

To answer your question, the zenfolio one will still work.
