This may be a stupid question but does setting my s110 to a higher resolution and picture size use up battery life faster?
It seemed like I could go a whole day with one charge with the size & resolution set in the middle. I have since purchased a better photo printer and a higher resolution makes a big difference in my printed photos so have kept the setting on the best. Now however with the resolution set higher it seems like I only get about a dozen shots before the low battery indicator comes on.
I am trying to figure out if it's settings, my battery or maybe even my camera. The camera took about a 3 foot fall onto carpet recently. The CF door opened and the card popped out but everything seem to function fine after the fall. But it was about the same time I noticed the battery life diminishing. The battery is about a year old and I know they eventually wear out. I don't really want to invest in a new battery if there is a problem with the camera. I am hoping that it is the higher settings causing the battery life problems and not my precious elph.
Thanks for your help.
