Nice shots. Unfortunatley, I had to leave before the Reds displayed. Mind you I was red all over  . Couldn't have been better weather could it??

The No. 1 tip for Fairford:- GET THERE EARLY. Last year I got to the gate at 7 and the queue was several hundred yards long. People ten across, not cars. Display centre is just to the left of the Tower, near the Grandstands (Bleachers for our american friends), so get a space as close as you can. A good idea is to get one person to stay with your gear, while the rest go for a walk, and then swap around during the day. Security is pretty tight, with Airport X-ray machines, and bag searches at all entrances, so try and travel as light as you can. Other than that, pray to the RIAT gods for good weather, and you should be OK.

i'm going to the airshow this weekend...do you guys think it's best to stick with RAW? or JPEG large?

I think i'll be taking my laptop with me as i'll definitely run out of space on my 512 :-(especially if i take RAW) but this would be heavy! i'll take 2 lenses with me... and a tripod! oh, and my camcorder of course!

I was all set to go and then I looked at my rota for work. I blooming well working all weekend :( :( :( .
I found on the last couple of outings that RAW is the way to go (well for me anyway). I have used between 2 and 3 GIG per day since I got my 300d. That's why I got the Flashtrax XT (It'll read RAW aswell!!)
