What are we guessing? The black thing?

The black thing helps distinguish a certain thing about the object. But the object itself is the whole pic.

toy train?

J.

nope way off

nope not even close.

azphotos

It is solid and not woven - it is metal - Hmm sure looks like threads and like cloth of some type has been cinched down, hence the vert depressions - but would metal cloth be considered a solid? Looks like steel wool, some type of scouring pad

Could it be the lid to a jar?

no not a lid to a jar. the grooves you see arent threads.

Is it a thin, round metal device? ;)

Napkin ring.

Not a napkin ring. think round like a disc.

Thimble

Nope.

It is solid and not woven - it is metal - Hmm sure looks like threads and like cloth of some type has been cinched down, hence the vert depressions - but would metal cloth be considered a solid? Looks like steel wool, some type of scouring pad

No kind of cloth or anything resembling a fabric or textile. Heres a big hint the "fibers" you see are actually scratches in the metal surface. think anodized brushed aluminum but with no aluminum.

whisk

nope wrong shape.

SOOO

so far we have:

metal
round, disk shape
solid one piece design
not any type of textile or fabric or anything woven or resembling one of these things
"fiber" lines come from markings in the metal
no threads, but grooves yes.

AlphaChicken
2nd of October 2007 (Tue), 15:34
