And the color looks like an underwater shot, sort of like you shot it through the side of an aquarium. Just doen't look like any kind of a fish or plant that I have ever seen.

Yep, Mike. My first thought was some circuit board resistor/transitor or sometin thingy, but I didn't see any board background. I don't know what any of that stuff is, but I have seen red lil parts, and the "dusty" image led my thoughts to that sort of thing. (you ought to see a closeup I did of my other computer I have apart. EWWWWWWW!)
