Thats why there charcoals, Like the kind artists use for doing sketchs. Most of the time they use a paper thats rough so the coal sticks.

Thanks. Guys, I love trying to figure these out and this is the first time I have had any clue as to what it might be. In2Photos, I don't have any macro equipment either...if that is what you're referring to. Just do what I do, get as close as you can on an object that is a sharp shot and then crop the heck out of the photo. I posted an airplane engine part about 15 pages back and I did not use a macro lens. Its more fun posting a shot up too.:D
