Where did wear come from? :) Nope not something you wear.

BearLeeAlive

I should have got it quicker, I have to wear one at work occasionally so I have one sitting under my desk.

Sorry for the confusion, I was talking about the previous macro. I work on hazmat sites and so carry and sometimes wear a respirator.

The yellow (but available in a range of colors) item is not something you wear. It is something I'll take with me to hazmat job sites but it is also something a photographer may take with them to a job site.

Pelican

Citizensmith

Spot on! The latch on a Pelican case. In my case used for a GPS unit, but of course also commonly used by photographers with too much gear. :) Over to you.

The upper end of the handle (guard, perhaps?) of one of her gardening tools, like a trowel, weeder or cultivator?

I have absolutely no mental precedents for an object that looks like that. It's slick/shiny looking and furry like an insect/spider, but it's too uniform to be organic. It's clearly not a plush toy, and I've never seen any kind of lego that was so dirty. It doesn't look like part of any kind of computer or electronic equipment...I really have no idea.

Thompsunshine

Or...a rice mold?

frate

Definitely machined metal.
Not Pliers.
Using molds is cheating. http://www.sushimagic.com/

I would guess Knife sharpener is first? But it looks nothing like one.

MikeMcL
31st of July 2006 (Mon), 08:13
it is the blade of the knife, those scallops prevent food like tomatoes or meat from sticking to the blade. they relieve the vaccuum and let the food fall away.

Ok. I know you said that using the forms would be cheating, but...the little bowl you put the rice in. If it isn't a mold, what would you call it? hmm Probably still not the right answer though! LOL

I am no good with scale (math pisses me off) but keep in mind that this is very cropped. This item will not fit in any hand:)

Not a boat or any other type of flotation device. However, this device will get wet frequently!

Nope. Okay, recap:
Not any of these things:
Animal, Fabric, Plantlife, Hair accessory, Drapes (did I miss anything?)

I really thought Bearlee would get this one;) Let's see, a good clue without giving it away, hmmmmmm...

It is manmade and found on many worksites involving roadwork.
