I've looked and looked and I have to agree that thingy is really the only way of describing it. I guess following the other comments, girly thingy is more accurate.

As for the whole guys using bath pillows thing. I guess it makes it more comfortable while you shave your legs. :)

not having any macro lenses, it's a bit difficult for me me to set up the next one. I don't even have any 100% RAW files I can crop from.

You bet it is! Football referee's whistle. And they still make the Acme Thunderer - GREAT!

Mine belonged to my grandfather (we think). It is incredibly loud - hence the name - and has a shrill throbbing sound due to the little wooden bead that sits inside and rotates furiously when you blow it.

Very close by were indeed a Mustang, Spitfire and Hurricane, so other guesses (geographically) close...!

(I even tried cheating and changing the URL to *****guess2.jpg - no second image! Darnit! :mad: :evil: )
