View Full Version : The super macro guessing game

JoesLdy, I think the person who gets the answer is the one who gets to post a pic.
I've got a piccy all ready, but I'm terrible at figuring these out...
cfpackerfan

OK can I take my turn now? Im sorry I went out of turn- I thought we had gotten done with the last one I searched through the thread and thought it was done- so sorry all!
No problem, it's tough to figure out sometimes. ;)
With this game, the person who guesses the current shot gets to post the next one. 3Turner is next in line for guessing the lighter.
But keep your eyes open... there are MANY times the guesser passes his turn, and anyone can post. :D Which is REALLY nice for those of us who have a hard time with the guessing part. :)
Welcome to the game! You'll get the hang of it soon enough. :D

Wow...that's pretty small....
I'll venture a guess at a poker chip?
3Turner
6th of January 2007 (Sat), 15:07
I had to crop real small since a larger crop will give it away, but it is not a poker chip.

How about a control knob for perhaps an oven/stove or a BBQ grill?
3Turner
6th of January 2007 (Sat), 16:57
Not a control knob, but this item does have a ring that turns.

LOL ok guys sorry- I will wait til I guess one :)
If you have one ready go ahead and post. It's been 13 hours since the last one was guessed. The kind of rule is that it's open season on new posts if we have to wait that long. That way the thread keeps moving nicely.
Oops, having re-read it I noticed its only 7 hours since the guess was confirmed. Anyway, I doubt anyone would get upset if you added one. It's still WebCrawlur's turn, it would just give us all something to do.

edit: and my guess would be...er...fingers? It looks like fingerprints..hmm
Skrim17
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 00:05
It does look like skin, but it is also a tad blurry so you can't tell for sure.
aLFaDaRK
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 00:06
yes, it almost looks like a long exposure of fingers which then blurred to create a strange effect
BradT0517
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 00:10
hmm almost seems like it is a ripple effect on water from a helicopter layered on to a picture of fingers

Are we trying to guess the white crusty stuff (glue?) or the thing the white crusty stuff is on?
tiktaalik
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 12:24
If you know what the white crusty stuff is on, then you'll know what the white crusty stuff is. You might also know the reverse, too :) But I guess I'm really looking for what the white crusty stuff is on.
Not glue.
Citizensmith
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 13:47
Inside of a pie tin thingy. Something you bake cakes in. The white stuff is cake that stuck to the inside while cooking.
tiktaalik
8th of January 2007 (Mon), 13:49
Not a pie tin thingy and the white stuff isn't stuck cake.

Coral or some kinda aquarium crusty or plant-life thingy... (Using your avatar as a hint)
tiktaalik

I like fishies, but the photo isn't coral, aquarium crusty, or plant-life thingy.
Hint: the crusty isn't always found on the object, especially outside the southwest US.
