Then you buff and color...

Thanks JM. I think these were to prove to myself that I have the light trick and post processing memorized. I can visualize what I want, then set up for it and get it. Now I just need some interesting subjects. :)

I'd say if you can reproduce that on demand you've got it.

Real cool, but where's the burnt umber?

Thanks guys. If burnt umber is in the set, it's there somewhere. This is a full set and none are broken, although, a few have been used a little bit by one of my brothers grandkids. :)

Hi Mitch. I've just had a look at your profile and I've just worked out (I know, sad isn't it?) that, if you sleep for eight hours, every waking hour you post this forum on average every half an hour! How on earth do you have time for photography (for instance)?:)

HAHA, simple, I work online, so I am almost always at my computer. POTN is just another window open on my dual monitors and I answer the posts as they come in. But right now, it's like dark out and below zero F. I got up at 4am to do some of my work and get it behind me. When it's sunny out, which is about as often as in London, I may take the camera out for a couple hours. I can shoot enough images for at least a couple days worth of post processing.

I have spent most of my time in the Birds forum. It's different there and a lot of people take an interest and enjoy posting because almost no posts, by newbie or oldbie alike will drop off the bottom of the page without at least one reply. I and others make it our job to see that they don't, and that's where I got a lot of my posts. As you can see, Birds is an active and well visited forum here at POTN because of it. This forum could use a little love in that respect too. ;)

Anyway, I almost never look at my numbers. I know it is over 40K, but that's about it. It's not about the numbers, it's about having fun and helping others when I can. And ultimately, it's about making this a better place. Who would post in any forum if no one ever got replies to their posts? :)
