Thanks! No, they were super cooperative today. Snowy Egrets are not so skittish as other egrets, herons. I pulled right to the shoulder of the road and he was feeding at the edge of the water. This was taken at the Forsythe Wildlife Refuge, which is an amazing place. I have some more too...

Go figure, shutter speed was the same as the Black Skimmer but I guess since the skimmers fly so fast, the results came out differently. All I did was unsharp mask it and Auto enhance. I have some others but they are larger files and I can't figure out how to resize them without losing the detail. Here's the original picture, uncropped:
