View Full Version : Backdrop support... which do you prefer?

I currently have a tripod support stand... and Ive got my eyes on a 6 roll wall mount support (manual)... which do you prefer?

I mainly use the 9ft seamless paper... and I rarely travel with my studio equipment.

My worries with the wall mount is that when Im at the end of the roll the paper seems to not stay tight... right now I roll them up and put the plastic cover back over them while Im not using them.

Pros and Cons anyone?

I use a portable one and If I had a spot that I could leave one set up would like one that I could just roll up. My only concern with the one on the wall would be the lowest ones be high enough that I could use them. Hope this helps John

Yes thats my worry as well... I guess Ill just put my lowest at a good height... and since Im only 5 foot anyway standing on a chair to get to the highest roll wouldnt be out of the ordinary LOL :)
