My first post in the Sports section. My nephew is a member of a ToW team and I went to Co Cavan a 200 mile trip to take a few photos. I did not know anything about ToW and soon learnt that they dont last long, the pull this picture is taken from lasted the longest of the 20 or so pulls I was there for, only 1 minute and 26 seconds!! My nephews team, shown, won silver in the All Ireland under 18's category.

great shot, too bad you couldn't take two shots and stitch it together. Congrats to him on winning

Thanx Marie. d1000763 I had that idea but unfortunately there was a trailer just to my left which a was used for a paltform for a videophotographer also as the teams swap ends of the rope between shots and from one side of the area to the other (there are two ropses) you would want to be a goat to be in the right place at the right time ;-) Added to the fact it can be all over in 10 seconds it makes for interesting photography.
