Went out today hoping to get some shot near the water overlooking Narragansett Bay, but it was so overcast I knew they would not be great shots. On my way home, I went a way I had never gone in this area and came accross this windmill. It is the Jamestown Windmill and is run by the Historical Society, they allow you to go in and look around on weekends during the summer. It just reopened yeaterday and met a very nice older woman who is there from the historical society. It was a nice opportunity for a shot you can't get much nowadays, unless you happen to be in Holland. I would appreciate constructive critcism. I will post some other shots I liked after I process them.

Just got my new wide angle lens last week and this is the first real test, I am pleased with the results.

Also tried the vertical version, not sure which I prefer.
Opinions?

Nice picture. Too much grass in the Portrait version. I would go with the landscape.

I have to say I agree, I like the landscape better as well.

Don't take this the wrong way, but the grass looks dead in the vertical shot. You sold me on the shot at the landscape version

I agree, the more I look at it, the more I like the original version. I could try and photoshop the grass. Would be good practice.
