Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone might be willing to take a look at some photos I took and provide some feedback to help me with future shots. I should note that I am quite new to digital SLR photography. I was at a concert last week with my Rebel XSi and 50mm 1.8 lens using no flash (except in about 5 or 6 photos), and out of 400+ shots I wound up with only a handful of salvageable shots while the others were either far too blurry or dark. It was quite dark throughout the show, besides the stage lights, and I was shooting by hand (without a tripod). Is it possible that this equipment combination just wasn't up to the task of shooting in such an environment or do I need to learn more about using the right settings? Again, any tips/feedback would be greatly appreciated. The photos in question can be found at:
