First attempt at band pics

I attempted to take a few pics for a band that I play in. It was quite a task setting the camera up and then getting into the picture, but I got a couple I can live with. They seem to have lost some color and sharpness when I uploaded them to Flickr.

The first shot was done with an ab800 with a 64" PLM.

The second was done using the PLM for main and an ab800 in an umbrella from the rear, the opposite side from the PLM. This was also my first attempt at retouching skin. How does it look?

Too many high lights in the first one... I would have turned the exposure at least one stop down.... Nice compositon and good shot.

The second one is very nice - classic portrait. May be it should have been composed a bit differently . She leaning a bit to the right and more space to the left...??? The backlight in #2 coud have been a bit stronger, though.
Retouched skin is OK apart from the nose - there seems to be "something" on the left side of the nose.

But all in all - nice pics.

Thanks for pointing out the exposure problem. It was fine SOOC, but got a little bright in PP. Here's one with the exposure turned down some.
