Kick boxing and Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Pretty hard lighting situation. Tell me what you think.

Nobody's going to comment on how inadequate the speed was on that second shot?

Actually, I like the motion blur in the second photo. Makes you feel like the guy doing the kicking is delivering a powerful kick to the poor bastard getting beaten in the ring.
However, my favorite picture is the first one. I'm a sucker for chesty blonds in skimpy clothes.

Freddy, these are great! The lighting at fights is never adequate, no matter how good it is ... the fighters are just too fast (unless laying on the mat hugging, of course!) ... and as you shoot the more proficient, it is impossible to tell when they are going to strike. I think you did a great job! And your Ring Girl shot puts mine to shame ... I will do better when I shoot my next fight on July 22nd! Anyway, here's my Ring Girl shot:

Yup, love the first one and not too much motion blur in the third one ;-) I think you did a good job, especially with the tough lighting.

Freddy, I meant to ask, do they allow flash at these fights? It looks like you were able to use flash in several. I'm not allowed to use flash although the ring is lighted for television so it's pretty good.

It was a private event, so if flash is not allowed on "official" fights, I don't know (never been to one with a cam).
About the ring -girls....well here are a few to satisfy your innermost desires ;)

Good action! I like the blur, too.
