EOS 20D or Rebel XT?

I want to buy a Canon digital, but wondering whether I should buy EOS 20D or Rebel XT. Both are around 8M pixel, but 20D is much heavier and more expensive. Which is better? I had only film camera before (Rebel). so it's my first digital.

Oh boy, what a question! Personally I think you should look backwards a bit in this forum or use the search function. This has been discussed endlessly. The short answer is that you will enjoy either one. I have the 20D and love it but really the differences between the two are minor and mostly have to do with ergonomics. You should actualy hold both and make a decision. Some people feel very strongly though and if you hunt around you will find some very strong opinions. My opinion is that if you buy either, read the manual, and practice a bit, you will have the opportunity to take some great pictures.

Ditto on what Scott said. I suggest a quick search in the forum there are a lot of interesting threads. Personally, I have solved the problem getting both of them :)

GO to a store and hold them both.
The answer depends on how you like the feel of either.
