CameraWindow problem

I recently bought an SD300. I have trouble, however, when I try to download the images from the camera to my laptop (running Windows XP). The computer recognizes the camera and the CameraWindow (typically, though not always) pops up, but the problem is that it is empty: there are no programs to choose from. I've tried using the Camera Wizard, but that doesn't work, and I can't import from Picasa or Photoshop or anything.

I plan on calling Canon tech support soon, but if anyone could provide any help, I would really appreciate it.

Try this, buy a card reader. XP will automaticly detect it and assign it drive letters. Stick your memory card in and it will open up an application query.

Did you install the Canon SW??? It might need Canon's WIA driver for XP to recognize the Camera.
