this was shot with a 50mm prime lense ,at f/2.5 iso was 1000 i think,cant remember

The information is in the EXIF data that is part of the image file you uploaded: you were using ISO 2000 actually!
Both nice shots. In the first one I think you should try to cerrect the white balance a bit (if you shot RAW) because the skin colour is a touch too yellow.

thank you, yeah, i set the white balance for the stage lighting and as soon as i caught him with a little time i pulled him aside for a quick shoot, not resetting the white balance, i see a green sheen but i thought it was in all the makeup he had on.

As you can see there is a slight difference between the red of the jacket in the first and the second shot. I think that when you match the red in the first with that in the second you got the skin tone right as well.

i wonder if i bump up the saturation in the first pic will work for the red, hmm but then it will change the face as well

no because i had to get these pictures to elvis really fast and i didnt know how to convert and i knew jpeg would be easy to email, thats the way he wanted them
