Green foothills

Hi,

I did a short bike and hike with a couple of my kids to the San Jose foothills behind my home. I took this shot under a lone oak tree on the top of a small hill. Shot with with a polarizer, with on-camera flash (for fill). I shot with a fairly small aperture (f eight), to capture a bit of the scenery behind, and the hanging branches to give some texture. Some might say a little fill flash on the faces, but I like it the way it is.

what a beautiful location.. :) Looks like you had a fun day out. I'd think a bit more fill flash would do well to soften up some of the shadows on their faces... a great shot for the memory books just as well. :)
