Vests?

I was looking through FM and seen a vest for sale that had Canon EOS Professional on the front, and Canon on the back. Any idea where to purchase these vests? I really like the look at the vest and it would go great with my gear.

I have seen them on eBay. The same seller has shirts and hats as well. Search a little and you should be able to find it.

However - it looks like one of the next POTN items will be a vest. I'm holding out for one of those. . .

Yea I was looking at the POTN, but for some reason the way they had the Canon stuff on there it looked really nice. I'll wait and see what teh POTN looks like also.

I was thinking you'd want something a little heavier in your line of work. :)

Actually, I've seen the Canon vest pop up from time to time on the net, but I'm not sure of the quality vs. price ratio.

Someone was saying that the vest, while light wasn't built very well which sucks. I'll check into other vests as well, including the POTN vests.

Let us know what you find out on vests. I'd be interested in getting one. I"m sure at times it will be more convenient than a backpack

I was at B&H last week where they had a bunch of different vests on display to look at and try on. I'm going back there tomorrow so I'll have more time to really check them out, but after a quick look over all the vests (which included our two POTN vests) it appears our Safari photo vest ranks up there with the Tenba which a $90 vest. I also think our Safari vest is as good or better than the Canon, Domke and Tamrac vests which were all more expensive.

Our other lightweight vest is admittedly not the greatest, but it is by far the lightest, and is roughly along the same lines as the Canon vest as far as pocket layout and is about half the price of the Canon and Domke.

We have about 60 vests on the way. As soon as they arrive I will drop them off at the embroiderer and start taking orders. I'm hoping to start shipping them out toward the end of next week. Like we did with the straps, we will all be getting these vests for 10-20% less than B&H's prices, including the custom embroidery, and supporting the forum at the same time.
