Here are a couple shots I took of my daughter playing in the snow Saturday morning. Not very good at taking "people pictures" but wanting to get better. Any advice is appreciated!!

Don't wanna leave my little boy out, so here's one I like of him. It was Christmas day. (1 year old)

The Throwing Snow gets my vote, The selective color (Glove) takes away from Subject IMO

Cute. :) I really like the first shot, and would love to see it in full color. The cheerful pinks of her clothing offsets the white and brown scene nicely. :)

Maybe just try to give it (#1) a bit of off-center cropping..

I appreciate the responses! here it the full color version of #1. I started to crop it off center...thought about cutting some off the left side off. The right side of the background just looks a bit more interesting to me. I'll probably still do it, I shot these in RAW so I still have the original files.

i would Cut both Left and Rigth Side off and Present it as Portrait, Lighten the Eye Area and Sharpen!!
