I like number 1. Although the girl does look like she is waiting for a bus. If she was facing out to sea it may be better (for me) and it also looks like she has two sets of breasts from that angle :lol: (hope that doesn't offend)

No offense taken at all. Few things from here, I was just walking along the beach taking photos when I saw this angle... I do not know these people and I cannot really direct how they'd pose so that's practically the best I got. :) The breasts, yeah, that worried me a bit but that's her palm cusped over her belly. Funny but thanks.

Still a nice shot with 2 sets or just the 1 :lol:
Jealous of the setting. If I was to visit a coast round here, there would be old ladies in rain macs and an oil tanker in the distance.

I like shot 1 best also, but all three are good. Very summery feel.
Maybe just in contrast with shot 1, shot 3 looks very light/bright overall. It does well to add focus to the child if that was your aim. I would try brightening the background a bit, but that's just me, and I am a newbie so don't listen to me :p

:lol: That actually made me giggle.

I like the "look" of the first shot a lot, but there's something unbalanced about the composition that bothers me. 2 and 3 look very good to me in general, although it looks like there's a halo along the guy's legs in 3, probably a processing artifact of some kind. I think 2 is my favorite of these.

Thanks mate! You can always travel to this side of the globe for some nice beaches. Peak of summer here is March, April and May although it can be too darn hot here already these days.

Thanks deathcake! These photos where taken of different hours of the day. 1 was taken at sunset, 2 was taken around 8 in the morning while 3 was taken at mid noon when the sun is right up my head.
And about that which made you giggle, i don't know which is which now?

I wish you can tell me what causes the unbalance in the composition. I was thinking it's about the way the guy's head was tilted or the extra sail boat in the frame. But I'm not sure. I saw that halo in 2. I think I should be more careful and thorough in post porcessing next time. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.
I thought 2 was rather too plain and simple though I like it a lot too.

I think there are too many elements in the first shot. There could be a nice triangle between the girl and two boats, the guy and two boats, or the guy, girl, and one boat, but the two boats, girl, and guy may be too much.
On 2, sometimes simple is best. :D

The choice is either to sink a boat or bury a girl. Take your pic. :lol:
Thanks a lot for the inputs, Sir!

I'm gonna have to say that I really like all three. I totally get the feel of the Philippines in each photo.

@Lindsay, Thanks...
@Kurotinka... Thanks pre. If you're hitting Bora this summer, make your reservations this early. It will be fun but it will also be a bit crowded. We will be back there around the 25th of April for my daughter's birthday.
