Hi - thought i'd try and post a pic i took yesterday from the model air show i went to somewhere in London. Also, i'm sorry i am not sure which category to put this pic up...

In addition to the planes and helis they had flying...there was also a big display of 1/16th scale tanks and these two officers were fully animated by electronics! so i thought i'd take a pic! i deliverately set the aperture to the widest i could so only the guy on the left would be in focus...

i can't remember what settings i used..sorry...still getting used to my 20d! but i think my ISO was set to 400 using the standard lens!

let me know what you think...and any tips would be appreciated!

Pat

I think you went overboard with the post-processing.
The soldiers look very plastic-y and unnatural.

:-) :-)

nice photos

I suck at jokes.
Your post-processing is fine. I was trying to respond as if I didn't know they were models. See, I though if I pretended...

oh never mind. :lol::lol:

Ya done good!

haha! you're actually funny!
i got your joke the first time...(well, the second time actually - i'm bad at reading jokes, so there!)
i was merely pointing out what methods i used...hehe!

Great picture. Too bad there are "giant legs" in the background that limit the illusion :)

hi - thanks...i've only just started editing them...so i'll upload them and i'll send you a link. i didn't actually manage to take any flying pics..i was too far away and my brother and i got distracted by all the shops and trades..so we spent most of our time walking and looking and photographing models on the ground..
here is one of the planes..
