Printing

So far I've printed very little of the output of my EOS 20D. I'm confused about the difference in aspect of my files 4:3 and the typical 4x6 print output. Will some of my frame be cropped when I get prints made from jpegs straight out of the camera?

Also, when I've cropped some frames how will they be handled? Sometimes I've just cropped them for looks only and not any consideration of dimension.

I'm thinking I should just put some of these pics on a CD and take it to my camera store and get some pics done to see how it all works. Sound like a good idea?

You aspect ratio on the 20D is 3:2 ratio, the same as a 4x6 print. You should be able to print direct, without cropping in either direction.
