I received a Powershot G5 from a relative a few months ago. I'm trying to get familiar with all the options of the camera. I took this picture of my dog. This is, in my opinion, my best b/w so far. Any criticism is welcome! Thanks!
How do you post pictures? It won't seem to work

Hum, on the technical side, it could be slightly sharper.
On the artistic side I think a background with more contrast would help.
Not to say there's anything wrong it is a very nice picture.

Did you convert it from a colour file, hope you dont mind but just to show that 5mins in PS can realy improve things, sharpened, dodge and burn areas, local contrast sharpening thats all that was used

It was not converted, but any advice on getting the clearest possibe shot it B/W?What a difference that makes. I have the full version of PS and it's rather overwhelming. Thank you for the tips. I'll be sure to put them to use.
