Here is one from my daughters recital. If this works I will attempt to send another.

I posted these earlier under critique corner, only a few views and no response. So, I will try again. I did these from the 5th row, mostly handheld. Then I did some photoshoping. I suppose that it should only matter that their mom loved them. I was just wondering about the pros.

Is no feedback a good thing?

I know the feeling - I'll give feedback on yours, if you'll do the same on mine ("Father and Son" - in this forum)
I am surprised to find myself preferring the Lauren shot - both have good energy, and enthusiasm, but there is something appealing about the graininess/colorization of the Lauren.
I put the Christina shot in PS and gave it about 13 degrees of clockwise rotation - I don't know whether I prefer it that way or not - it seems a little more grounded, but changes the energy in the shot. I think that what made me try is in looking at the original, I kept wondering whether she is touching the floor or not - straightening her out takes away the question, and I instead focus on the curves her arms make. Good thing? I don't know.

I posterized Lauren, actually I posterized all of them, it seemed to give it some umph (the one of Christina did not get posterized). I would post others, but I like to ask parental permission first and these 2 are the only ones I have gotten. I have 2000 photos from this recital and I am really excited about future recital shoots. By the way Christina definitly was not touching the floor, she was about 3 feet in the air.

Your daughter is very pretty & seems to have a lot of personality! I'd like to see the pic a bit sharper in the area of her face, but I like it. Maybe a bit of selective sharpening?
The posterized version is well done, but I'd only use it for a poster. Maybe the parents will want one for that.
