Lemonade at the Aspen Music Tent

Our friend, Vera, volunteers at the Lemonade stand at the Aspen Music Festival Tent - here she is making change last Sunday. It is so much fun to go to a tent concert - the audiences are a kick, and the music is usually superb.

This picture has alot of potential.
This is where having a Digital SLR's ability for shallow depth-of-field would have been great at isolating your subject, something which unfortunately can not be done with a digicam like the S500.

Certainly true, Drisley. I think that it was an unplanned stroke of good fortune that what I couldn't do with depth of field, was done to some extent by the beam of sunlight shining right on the bills in her hands, and also helped by the foreground figures being in shadow!
