a wedding I shot about 3 weeks ago....

their first dance. I was using the 50 f1.4 for the first time that day. Not too bad of a lense in low light situation. I do have to get used to that fact that its not a zoom lense.

This picture I had to stand on a chair... (forgot my step ladder). There cake is so high, and I was so short. I didnt know how else to take a pic of it..... so I came up with this idea. :-D

I also took a pic where the married couple were out of focus, but not the cake.

The wedding ceremony was in Spanish. OMG, I totally didnt know what was going on. I pretty much was just shooting every second of my time.

I like the "glow" of the first shot and his expression makes it all the better.

Did you shoot RAW?

I have the f/1.4 and while it takes gorgeous photos, it's somewhat finicky in low light; i.e. a considerable amount of time in post-processing to get the exposure the way I want it.

Cheers

thanks. No i didnt shoot RAW. All done in JPEG. If I have to process the RAW images (about 2000+), my computer will go crazy.

I do understand what you mean. I did find myself doing that sometimes w/ this lense. Truefully, I was testing the lense on the job that day. hehehehehe! well I do shoot w/ an assistant. so what I dont get she will get... and vice versa

Nice pics. If you can be careful of background objects. It looks like she's wearing that red heart.

it is nice pics and agree about heart in bg.
I just came back from Huston, did shoot Indian wedding for 3 days, and all in raw (thanks God for RAW), never know what light condition or what going to happen next moment, RAW is life saver, especially for wedding when you can't take another shot.
