Here we go. I've a G10 and an Ftb-QL. I traded in an F1 in order to buy the G10, it more than complements anything the F1 could do and...we are now in the digital age. I want to benefit from the use of both; I don't know how but I do know I'm intending to embark on a big journey of experimentation, using both cameras to complement the other. I'm looking at the Gitzo line of tripods with an Acra head and associated mountings, which is to include a bar to mount both cameras. I'm going to be using film and digital-an interesting adventure...is there any information out there about this type of experimental journey and associated results.

Might help if you express the question a bit clearer.
Also, I moved it to it's own thread ;)

I think you are saying you want to mount an older film camera (Ftb) and a G10 to the same tripod at the same time?
There are some things for that: IIRC, Gitzo and RRS both make a camera bar.
