I am always intrigued by the giant turnbuckles at the Aspen Music Festival Tent. The immense covering of this tent is held in place with giant steel cables - the turnbuckles are used to tension the cables. The balloons are regular size, and give a measure of the size of the turnbuckles. Shot with a Canon S500 last Friday.

Those are huge! That tent must be a real bear to assemble. Is this a permanent structure?

Thanks, Felix and Chap. The proper name is the "Benedict Music Tent" - first used in 2000, seats 2050 people, and is a permanent structure (very beautiful). I think that the tent roof is made of the same long-lived material that was used in the main terminal bulding at the Denver International Airport, but I don't know the details.
