Hello,

My name is Eddie Rivera, I am a 24 year old looking to get involved in photography. Since a young age I have had much interest in photography, but never had the income to afford it. Now that I have a good solid job and am able to drive myself around, I am really looking to get more involved. I posted something like this sometime ago, and had someone contact me who was willing to help, but I had an issue with my email account and lost said persons email address and was never able to contact this person. So Im back and hoping to see if I can find someone out there who is willing to take some 1 on 1 time with me and show me a few things. First off I have to say is that I dont have any equipment of my own. I have not decide what I want to buy just yet. I am looking at getting my feet wet first before I commit to buying any gear.

So to sum that all up again.

I am 24 yrs old, from Hartford, CT. I have no gear of my own. I am looking for someone who is willing to take some time of their own and lead me in the correct path. If money is an issue or a must. I am willing to nogotiate a payment.

Please someone help me further this Dream.

My name is Eddie and you can reach me with the following methods.

email: illconn860@gmail.com
phone/txt: Pm or email me and I can provide it.
Thank you again for your time, and looking forward to your help.

Well knowing Hartford and the surrounding areas and Springfield across the line I would suggest that you go and look into one of the very many community colleges and take some beginner courses.

I think you have to buy at least a camera.

i can suggest buying a starter camera like the canon rebel xs($500-$800) like i got to get started with the eos system , i have been using point and shoots for the last 9-10 years and traveling more now , a lot of the pictures didnt come out like i wanted to , so i invested money to get the xs camera, and in 2 months i bought the zoom lens , and after useing a flash for an event , i waited for some funds and bought one, im not saying in 2 months buy $1500 worth of camera stuff in 2 months like i just did, ya got to know how to use it a little bit before going all out , i am still learning on mine , and know that every day i learn something new , it will make me money in time .
