Is Waterproof case WP-DC600 suitable for digital ixus V?

Hello,

I want to buy a waterproof case for my 'Canon digital IXUS V' (not 'V2' and not 'V3'). This camera is also known as 'PowerShot S110 Digital Elph' or as 'IXY digital 200'.

I found the 'Canon WP-DC600' waterproof case on the web (e.g.: http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/tech/report/200204/report.html ) for the 'Canon digital IXUS V2' aka 'PowerShot S200 Digital Elph'.

Does anyone know for shure if that WP-DC600' case can be used for the 'Canon digital IXUS V' too? Or does anyone know another waterproof case for my 'Canon digital IXUS V'?

I also am after an underwater case for a S110 powershot, did you find one?I ll send you a link to a site that Ive found but they are $500 I was looking for a cheaper one if possible.

I have used the DC 600 case successfully with the Ixus V. It fits the case snugly, but the buttons are set up for the V2 and V3. You can still turn on/off, zoom, change from capture to play and manually override the flash (set button). The left and right arrow buttons below the screen can be activated also.
The menu and disp. buttons can NOT be used in the DC 600 case.

I have found the case totally waterproof and my only criticism is that the camera takes a while to focus so underwater photos of fish etc are a bit hit and miss.

My ixus v was stolen recently and the insurance company replaced it with a ixus 2 (not v2). The ixus 2 needs smaller secure digital cards and although it fits inside the DC 600 case, even fewer of the buttons are compatible! It's expensive to buy new cards, readers and waterproof case!!! The v2 and v3 are basically discontinued here in australia.

THe one i have on order is the WP-DC 700. I think this one only fits the A60 and A70 though. But it might be the new version of the 600. Dunno
