Location Workaround

Greetings,

I've come across a minor problem regarding "Location" input.

I tried to type in "Cala D'or" but sadly the apostrophy (') was not allowed and the only entry I could make was to use a space Eg (Cala D or).

Is this a known problem? Has it been fixed/reported previously? Is there a known workaround?

All help gratefully received.

That should work with EE 1.5 RC4, in both photo editor and location editor. if you use that version can you please look

server info -> Display full PHP info

and there what settings you have in lines

magic_quotes_gpc
magic_quotes_runtime

Hi Pekka,

Very Strange.....

When the location was entered from the photoeditor page the save the page would not work with the apostrophy. Since your last reply, i edited the location page which had the (Cala D or) entry and has allowed me to change it to the required (Cala D'or).

This maybe just a problem within the photeditor page when you enter a new location there.
