Brand New D60 for £1499 UKP

Just been looking at the Amateur Photographer Forum. Aparently Canon are selling D60s for 1499 UKP and EOS3 with booster for 659 UKP at the Focus on Imaging exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham. I am there tomorrow so will confirm.

They need all the room they can get to store the D60 successor, the 10D.

It is stupid to buy a new D60 now, to find out you can buy a 10D in a couple of weeks at the same price.

I'm not at all sure that it has been 'officially' announced by Canon, but, even it has, that does not mean that it would be available any time soon. More than likely the new model will be in short supply for several months after being announced.

Furthermore, I, for one, cannot see the new camera selling for anything like as 'low' a price as 1499 UK Pounds.
